Whether you are a competitive runner, a casual walker, or just love the idea of supporting a wonderful cause, participating in the CASA Superhero Run allows you to show your support for abused and neglected children in Lafayette County. What fun is a Superhero Run without costumes? We encourage everyone to wear their favorite superhero costume (buy it or make it) but it is certainly not required. Which superhero will you be? When selecting your costume, please be reminded that children of all ages will be participating in this family-friendly event (costumes should not be too revealing or scary please). Every child needs a HERO but abused and neglected children need SUPERHEROES.
First 100 to sign up for the Kids Run will get a superhero cape!
Join us after the race for a fun finish line festival with food, a DJ, bounce house, photo booth, Ole Miss athletes and more!
CASA of Lafayette County is a non-profit organization that advocates for the best interests of abused and neglected children through the development and support of court-sanctioned, community-based programs which provide trained and supervised volunteers. The purpose of CASA of Lafayette County is to train volunteers to advocate for the best interest of children in court proceedings to ensure every child is in a safe and permanent home. In order to ensure a healthy future for Mississippi’s abused and neglected children, CASA of Lafayette County believes in breaking the cycle of abuse through volunteer advocacy within the court system.
